A showcase, not a client

Maison Aurel is a sector showcase built at Walnut, our own software firm: an example of the kind of website we build for museums, exhibitions and luxury brands. It is not a client project, and the Maison Aurel brand is invented for the showcase.

What it is

A dark, editorial site for institutions and premium brands: an animated collection wall that opens into exhibition pages, curatorial stories, a searchable works archive and the full set of legal pages, all with fluid, high-frame-rate motion.

What the site does

  • Art-directed motion. A five-row marquee wall where each card morphs into its exhibition page as you open it.
  • An archive that's searchable. Works filter by category and search, with pagination for large collections.
  • Institution-grade. Imprint, privacy, cookies, accessibility and terms pages, designed as carefully as the rest.

Pages

Home · Exhibition detail · Curatorial · Spaces · Talents · Works archive · Newsletter · 5 legal pages

Who it fits

Museums & galleries · Exhibitions & events · Luxury retail · Architecture & design studios

Every build is custom

Client work is always built custom: designed around the brand, bilingual in Arabic and English with a true right-to-left layout, structured around the business, connected to the systems it already runs (Odoo, CRM, bookings, payments, WhatsApp and analytics), fast and findable, and looked after after launch.
